Masons from Fort Worth and Arlington
met in downtown Fort Worth on Monday,
January 18, 2016 to commemorate the life
and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

"More than ever, it is critical that
communities unite to protect both civil
rights and voter's rights," said PM
Anthony Suttice of Grand Temple Lodge

that more work is needed regarding
equal rights and equal access."

On January 30th, Brothers from Grand Temple #75 went out
to visit Judge L. Clifford Davis at his residence to spend time
and fellowship and who has been in good standing over 50
years with the lodge. Judge Davis recalled how he became a
member of Grand Temple #75 when he relocated from
Arkansas. He was in good spirits and highly appreciated our
visit. He was also presented with some 'goodies'.

Grand Temple Lodge #75 honors the most senior, active brother
04/9/2016
By SW Terrance Reed

On April 9, 2016, Grand Temple Lodge #75
payed a visit to the 'oldest' ACTIVE member of
Grand Temple #75, PM Kerven Carter. PM
Carter, a Fort Worth, TX pioneer that has paved
the way for generations is a retired
educator(teacher, coach, administrator) from Ft.
Worth Independent School District. He served as
Master of the Lodge for Grand Temple #75 for
18 years, Most Worshipful Grand Treasure for
two decades(1960's-1970's), and the list
continues to go on. Little known fact, He was the
Principal for our current Senior PM Sammy Hardy.
Another little known fact about PM Carter is that he has served as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity,
Inc.
for more than 75 years! He is the 'only' original charter member that's still living that's responsible for
bringing Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. to TEXAS under the Texas Council Chapter. Finally, Bro. Carter family
was responsible for making/designing all aprons/lambskin aprons for the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand
Lodge of TEXAS that was given to newly made Master Masons by the Grand Lodge. When asked what turned
him on to Masonry, Bro Carter stated: "It was the good deeds from others that stood out, especially my neighbor
and church member, A.H. Holly (Past Master of Grand Temple #75 for 50 'consecutive' years).
